H&M Home Opens First Store In Singapore

Jun 19, 2023

Pop by Singapore’s first-ever H&M Home store along Grange Road, 2 minutes away from Somerset MRT.

With the first H&M Home store in Singapore opening its doors last week, we no longer have to wait for its pop-ups just to get our hands on the fashion giant’s homeware items. Located within their flagship store in Orchard, this expansion introduces an expansive array of homeware items categorised into 5 main sections – Living, Dining, Bathroom, Bedroom, and Kids.

The store is currently stocked with its Fall & Winter collection featuring warm, earthy tones and cosy textures, perfect for your next homeware shopping spree. Here’s a preview of what you can expect during your next sojourn to Somerset.

At the forefront of the store, the Living section presents a selection of elegant and practical home decor, decked out in warm, festive hues that set a perfect ambience for family gatherings as the holiday season approaches.

H&M Home curates and presents a display of home and living decor that harmonises seamlessly, facilitating convenient shopping and effortless home designing.

The featured display ensemble includes elegant patterned pillowcases (from $18.95), accompanied by opulent U-shaped dual candlestick holders ($54.95) crafted from pristine white marble – the perfect additions to a Parisian-inspired home.

Oval-shaped patterned mini vase.

Patterned glass vases, each with a unique drip pattern, are also included in the selection. The patterned mini vase ($9.95) comes in 2 adorable configurations – spherical and oval – that are great for displaying small sprigs of holly during Christmastime, while the large patterned vase ($62.95) is a robust centrepiece that’ll certainly make an eye-catching living room statement.

Each beige-coloured stoneware piece has a textured surface for an added layer of dimension.

Homeowners looking for matching table decor can take a look at H&M Home’s unique dual-handle stoneware collection, featuring a candlestick holder ($24.95), small stoneware vase ($34.95), and stoneware display bowl ($64.95).

Gold-rimmed wine glass from the Dining section.

Those who often have happy hours at home should check out H&M Home’s elegant gold-rimmed drinkware collection, which offers matching glass cups ($10.95), wine glasses ($16.95), champagne flutes ($15.95), and cocktail glasses ($15.95), so that you have the right drinking glass for any occasion.

Another gold-and-glass item to consider is the oil & vinegar set ($54.95), consisting of 2 petite glass bottles crowned with spherical glass stoppers and elegantly cradled within a minimalistic gold holder. They’ll be perfect for when you’re in the mood to enjoy Italian bread with a drizzle of olive oil and vinegar.

Alternatively, tinted glass cups ($14.95) in earthy Fall colours – olive green and dusky pink – set the mood for a pumpkin-spiced latte or a cup of chai.

It’s also worth considering this pink candlestick holder ($44.95) that screams quirky Korean glassware.

While the Dining section is currently centred on glassware at the time of writing, it’s worth noting that an exciting development awaits – we’ve got the inside scoop that ceramic tableware is on the horizon for H&M Home’s future collections.

In the meantime, the store currently carries a small selection of other dining necessities to spruce up your table, from wooden cutlery holders to table runners and an assortment of reusable napkins.

Head over to the Bathroom section to explore H&M’s cotton terry guest towels (from $6.95) in pink and green, as well as a plethora of other bathroom accessories ranging from toothbrush holders to candles. There are also wooden bathtub caddies to keep all your barang barang, from toothbrushes to tweezers, organised.

Don’t forget to take a look at the speckled stoneware soap dispenser ($19.95) and matching stoneware toothbrush holder ($18.95), both of which are made from 40% recycled ceramic and come in 3 different colours: white, green, and grey.

Located opposite the H&M’s Bathroom section, the Bedroom section is unmistakable. A large bed display sits in the centre of the room and is adorned with H&M’s gorgeous pink-patterned duvet covers and bed sheets.

Simple and minimalist, the collection features cotton pillowcases and bed sheets, plain duvet covers (from $47.95) in a range of colours, as well as soft Terry bathrobes (from $54.95) made from a variety of fabrics.

H&M Home also has an in-house embroidery service where you can personalise your items with your name – just ask the friendly staff if you’d like to explore the option.

Lastly, parents will be glad to know that H&M Home has an entire section dedicated to bedroom decor for the little ones.

H&M Home’s rainbow collection is a gender-neutral room decor assortment that’ll never go out of style. With a functional rainbow-shaped hanger rack ($34.95), matching threaded rainbow decoration, alphabet wall hanging, rainbow cushion, and a patterned laundry basket, the collection is perfect to introduce colour into minimalist or neutral-themed kids’ bedrooms.

There’s also an expansive collection of cute jungle animal soft toys (from $9.95) that would instantly elevate any forest-themed kids’ bedroom or nursery.

Beyond their role as charming bedroom embellishments, the selection at H&M Home Kids doubles as a source of inspiration for parents seeking fun and imaginative kids’ bedroom ideas.

Inaugurating its presence with a remarkable grand entrance, H&M Home occupies a prominent half of the first floor of Singapore’s largest H&M store. A convenient 2-minute walk from Somerset MRT, the H&M Home flagship store is definitely not something to miss, especially for those keen on delving into a massive homeware shopping spree.

Homeowners can also keep an eye out for their special holiday collections – such as the Christmas collection – coming later in the year, as well as the H&M Home Spring & Summer collection, which will take over the current Fall & Winter selection in due time.
