Landscaped garden, Black Isle, Ross and Cromarty
We designed and constructed this garden to be viewed from the warmth of the client's conservatory.
We started by constructing a large water garden designed to follow the contours of the conservatory. This was to be natural-looking with a beach area at one end and a waterfall at the other that could be viewed from eye-level if sitting down in the conservatory.

There was a bridge crossing the pond which was custom-built and illuminated with LED lights. The pond and waterfall also benefited from illumination and the pond was designed to suit the requirements of Koi fish at a depth of 9ft. The pond was surrounded with bamboos, red Japanese maples, irises and grasses to present a style mixing colour, structure and movement.
The garden created at the other side of the conservatory provided an attractive outdoor seating area under-planted with alpine and more red Japanese maples.
We laid a Caithness stone patio which led to an oval-shaped timber deck that we surrounded with decorative stone walling and blue LED lighting to finish the contemporary touch.
