Would you go on a journey to somewhere you did not know without a map? Possibly yes, however if you have the map it is a lot easier to get where you are going to and make less mistakes.
This applies to planning out your garden and creating a garden design: the planning process is facilitated, expectations are clearer and mistakes minimized if ideas are first explored on paper. Even the smallest space responds well to design.
Appreciating the benefits and economy of garden designs we have developed a simple design process that will guide us through the creative and practical steps to designing and building your dream garden.
Step One:
Initial consultation – Free of charge
Our designer will come to your property to discuss your lifestyle requirements and hopes for your outdoor space. Using their knowledge and creative flair a clear brief can be developed which will enable us to write to you with an estimate for the design process.
Step Two:
We will carry out a full site survey to produce scale drawings of the site; these will be used to design your new garden. At the same time soil samples will be taken and the garden's micro-climate observed and recorded.
We will then arrange a follow up visit. During this visit we will discuss the design and bring it to life by viewing the sketches and samples of materials to be used. We will then discuss any changes or additions you would like to make.
Step Three:
We will produce the final design plans and send you an optional full written estimate for the landscaping work. If you go ahead with the landscaping work we shall provide the design free of charge.
